Dr. J.S. Badenhorst
Dr. J.S. Badenhorst was born in the Cape Province, South Africa and graduated in 1988 from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. After an internship in Windhoek, Namibia, Dr. Badenhorst served a two year term in the military with 8 months of intensive anaesthetic training. He started his own family practice in Swellendam, South Africa in 1991, offering a variety of anaesthetic and surgical procedures.
In 2000, Dr. Badenhorst and his family moved to Prince Albert, SK, Canada where he practiced until 2003, when they moved to Red Deer to join Dr. Swarts in a family practice.
Dr. Badenhorst has attended numerous conferences and training sessions in Las Vegas, Santa Monica, Phoenix Arizona, Kelowna and Vancouver with a concentration on Lipodissolve, Dermatolgical skin diseases, Lasers, Botox and fillers. This enables him to provide the best possible treatment options available to his patients.
He is married to Marianne, a trained pharmacist and laser technician with special experience and interest in dermatological care. Together, they have three children, Frans, Cecile and Kobus.
